Why do we need trial reimbursement?

Poland still lacks comprehensive regulations on compassionate use and early access to therapy, i.e. trial reimbursement, which could significantly accelerate patients' access to funded treatment. We also need a sixth reimbursement pathway for medical devices and drug technologies, emphasised Katarzyna Czyżewska, lawyer and partner at Czyżewscy Law Firm, during the Economic Forum in Karpacz 2025.
