The name of the drug in Taco Hemigway's song

The Wirtualnemedia.pl portal raised an unusual legal issue related to Taco Hemingway's new song ‘Zakochałem się pod apteką’ (‘I fell in love outside the pharmacy’) and the mention of the drug Solpadeina in it. The Main Pharmaceutical Inspectorate is analysing whether such a message can be considered unauthorised advertising of a medicinal product, which is particularly strictly regulated by pharmaceutical law.
In an interview with the portal, Katarzyna Czyżewska, lawyer and partner, emphasises that the use of a drug name in a song may be considered advertising, regardless of the creator's intentions, and that pharmaceutical law provides for penalties for advertising medicinal products without the appropriate authorisation.
