The OCCP’s guidelines concerning protection of business secrets

The Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (the OCCP) presented information referring to submitting requests for limitation of the right to access to case files in order to protect business secrets. 

According to the OCCP’s guidelines, the request shall include in particular:
•    precise indication of information protected as a business secret;
•    justification, separate to each specified information or category of information (e.g. pricing policies, terms of cooperation with business partners, market strategy);
•    indication which parties shall have limited access to case files.

The OCCP prepared the template of the request.
