Changes on medical records
On the 16th January 2017 a draft bill amending Act on patient’s rights and the Commissioner for Patient’s Rights has been directed to Sejm. The draft bill introduces changes on keeping medical records and rules of access to those records.
The main purpose of the draft bill is to create an effective legal regulations that should ensure protection of patient’s personal data, including information on patient’s health.
Moreover, the draft bill covers rules referring to dealing with medical records after termination of medical activity by an entity.
