Free medicinal products for people aged over 75 years – The Ministry of Health published a draft list of medicinal products

The Minister of Health published on August 1, 2016 a draft list of medicinal products available free of charge for senior citizens aged over 75 years (“The Draft”).
The Draft encompasses medicinal products which on the basis of the current notice are issued to patients at a fixed payment level, 30% or 50% of their financing limit.
The Draft contains 68 active ingredients, including 6 molecules at a fixed payment level.

Pharmacies and pharmacy dispensary will dispense to patients free of charge medicinal products on the basis of prescription issued by a doctor (nurse) of a primary health care. 
It should be noted that medicinal products included in The Draft, covers over 81% demand of patients aged over 75 years for a reimbursed medical products at a payment level of 30% of their financing limit.

The final list will be published with the reimbursement notice issued on September 1, 2016.
